About Paul J. Toland, Esq.
Paul has been an active practicing attorney since 2012 in Massachusetts currently practicing immigration and criminal defense. He was raised by a Colombian mother and American Father which gave him a deep understanding of the immigrant community at a young age but also a huge love for my country. My mission is to help as many immigrants as possible with their immigration journey to the United States whether it is defending their rights before the Immigration Court, USCIS, Board of Immigration Appeals, Federal Court, or at the many U.S. Consulates abroad. Additionally, he defends numerous clients before the District and Superior Court on many different criminal cases. Notably, he has also vacated dozens of criminal convictions saving immigrations from facing deportation and attaining their legal status in the United States.
He started his career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Worcester District Attorney’s Office and served the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for about three years where he honed his trial skills by having completed more than 100 trials. Afterwards, he worked for two private law firms where he started defending clients before the District and Superior Court on various criminal cases as well as practicing immigration law.
Before his legal career, he graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and pursued his passion for baseball as well. He then graduated from Massachusetts School of Law in 2012 and passed the Massachusetts Bar Exam within the same year.
He is currently licensed in Massachusetts and admitted to practice in the Massachusetts Federal Court as well.
